Hosting & infrastructure

• Website hosting — Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA.
• Application data — Supabase (database, authentication, storage), hosted in the European Union.
• Payments — Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., Dublin, Ireland. Card details are entered directly with Stripe; we never see or store them.
• Mobile purchases — subscriptions bought inside the iOS or Android app are processed by Apple or Google, not by us.

Intellectual property

The 16Word name, interface, learning system and vocabulary datasets are the property of NEXURA SARL-S, except where stated otherwise. Part of our pronunciation audio comes from openly licensed sources — Wikimedia Commons / Lingua Libre and the Lëtzebuerger Online Dictionnaire (lod.lu) — and remains under its original licence. Full attributions are on the credits page.

Subscriptions & consumer rights

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and can be cancelled at any time from your account — you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. We offer a 72-hour money-back guarantee on a new subscription; a refund ends access immediately. Prices are shown inclusive of applicable VAT. EU consumers may also use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform.
